Small Business Advocacy Council (SBAC IL)
The SBAC advocates for small businesses in Illinois. They work tirelessly to even the playing field for small businesses that have to compete with large companies with deep pockets. They’ve dedicated an entire section to Covid-19 resources. You’ll find information on loans, grants and other funding as well as the status of bills in the legislature. Check this page for the latest information and links to current town hall virtual meetings.
Women In Business
Affiliated with the SBAC, Women In Business is a networking and resources group that advocates for women business owners and employees in Illinois. We are both active in this group. We’re also active members of the SBAC but you don’t have to join to be involved in WIB (although you’ll probably want to)! Join WIB’s Facebook group to learn more.
Here is a list of WIB members who are offering help to small business owners.
